VIETNAM [ HO CHI MINH TRAVEL GUIDE - PART 2 ]

Holaaaaaa! Have you read about my VIETNAM TRAVEL GUIDE PART 1 in my previos post? If you missed it, here the link where you can catch the full information about Ho Chi Minh before read the PART 2 in here.

  1. One day tour to Mekong Delta River

If you have more time in Ho Chi Minh, I suggest you to get One Day Tour to Cu Chi Tunnels and to Mekong Delta River. But, because I don't have enough time to expreriance both, so I choose to get Mekong Delta River one day tour. We know that Mekong River was very famous river in Asia, accross many country start from China in North, then Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar and Vietnam. And that's the interesting point.

For me, this activity honestly not too attractive, but yeah it gave me experiance to see how the real local life. We visited local village, ride boat and did sampan cruise across the river. Some friends I met on group come from big city in Europe, and yeah they were so excited! Me, who came from small city in Indonesia thought "OMG I can see and do everything in here behind my backyard" Hahahah 😂 It was so funny when see them excited, especially when taste traditional fruits like Jack Fruits, they don't believe when I said "I have many Jackfruits tree in my hometown"🤣 Intinya dikampung gue juga banyak yang beginian, apalagi naik sampan udah khatam mah wkwkwkwkw 😂 But all of it become a part of experiance. If you go to Vietnam but have not visited Mekong Delta River then you have not got to Vietnam.

hi from the famous Delta River

our traditional boat, (I always use this when I was a child in my hometown :D)

the bonus :D

we stop in here during the way from Mekong Delta to Ho Chi Minh city
the plus bonus :D

  1. Sunset at Bitexo Financial Tower & Sky Deck for Enjoy the Ho Chi Minh skyline

Bitexco Financial Tower & Sky Deck stands 262 metres high at the centre of the city’s business district and offers visitors an unparalleled city view from its Sky Deck. If you want to enjoy the city skyline, you can go to Sky Deck on 49 fl and pay for 130.000 VND. But,  because I want something free to enjoy the view, I just go to the Sky Bar on 51 fl😜

Night View from the 51 floor

Hangout in the bar, chit chat with friends, enjoy the afternoon vibes which must thing to do for most Milineal Traveler like me 😁 As the highest buiding in the city, and all off Vietnam sure the EON 51 Heli Bar in Bitexo Tower on my list! Just go to 51 floor by special elevator, you can ask the security if need. When arrived at EON 51 heli bar, the writer will welcomed you. The best thing is NO MINIMUM payment in here for drink, except if you want to dine and sit in the sofa. I really pay less for this majestic view.

chúc vui vẻ :D

  1. Cafe Hops

As a develop and life city, Ho Chi Minh has many cute, cool and Instagramble cafes around the city and tourist district. 1. Shop at Ben Tahn Night Market

Cho Ben Tahn, or Ben Tan market is located in District One. It’s easily visible from the street and just a short walking distance from Pham Ngu Lao Road. The Ben Thanh market is extremely crowded with both people and merchants. This market is huge, but also extremely hot due to the number of people. Be warned that the crowds can pose a threat if you’re not watching yourself, and there are pickpockets looking for easy targets.Ben Thanh Market makes the ideal place to practice your bargain. In here you can find local foods, souvenir, clothes and many more. But don't forget to BARGAIN, as much as 300% above market value.

Enjoy your day at Vietnam everyone! Stay tune about WHERE TO STAY & TRANSPORTATION GUIDE on my blog! cảm ơn bạn :D

VIETNAM [ HO CHI MINH TRAVEL GUIDE - PART 1]

Hello! Welcome back again to my other Traveling story! NOW, let's we move to another country and fly to Vietnam ✈️ At my latest post about Vietnam, I wrote about my traveling story in  Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam, and also about the one of UNESCO HERITAGE, Halong Bay. NOW, let's talk about Ho Chi Minh, the largest city in Vietnam. Here we go, the ultimate TRAVEL GUIDE of Ho Chi Minh city!

As the largest city in Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh (old name Saigon) become a very live city! Vietnam truly beyond my expectations, especially Ho Chi Minh, sure it's modern city with French vibes. Not too hectic like Jakarta, also unlike the former of communist state in general. Good city with good ambiance.

So, What To Do In Ho Chi Minh? Here the list based on my experience!

  1. Visiting Saigon Notre Dome Cathedral

The architecture me we feel like not in Vietnam

Built in 1880 by French Colonial with Romanesque Style, this Catholic Cathedral become the oldest building in Vietnam. The design made us feel like in Rome, good for taking a lot of picture. Currently Instagram Material 😍

OOTD in Ho Chi Minh? DONE

Ho Chi Minh sunny day

  1. Ho Chi Minh Central Post Office

Built between 1886-1891, this building designed by Gustave Eiffel, the man who also designed the famous Eiffel Tower. Yap, Ho Chi Minch Central post office is one of example of French Colonial architecture. Because this country is a former of French colony. The design was very beautiful and thick with historical, and made you the real traveler should not miss to visit this one. The location only next door from Saigon Notre Dame Cathedral.

You also can buy souvenir in here

  1. Saigon Pedestrian Bookstreet

Located only opposite Notre Dome and beside the Saigon Post office, you should not miss to explore this area. Nguyen Van Binh Street is now home to over 20 small book shops run by Vietnamese publishing companies, including the Ho Chi Minh City General Publishing. You can find many old book, limited edition novel and as well as a number of smaller stalls, cafes, and coffee shop. Worth to visit.

Good for afternoon stroll

some of book collection

many tourist and local people shop the limited edition book in here

cute cafe around the street

  1. Strolling around Dong Khoi Street in district 1 & stop at Saigon Opera House.

In Ho Chi Minh city (also in Hanoi) the goverment divided some area with "district". Ho Chi Minh has 19 district, where District 1 is the famous one. DISTRICT 1 also know  with "sleepless district" where you can find many bars,  cafes, restaurant, hotels, shoping area, mall and iconic landmark. It's really nice for afternoon strolls.

afternoon stroll kinda like... This city surely pedestrian friendly
I found many building with frech colonial architecture

In Dong Khoi Street, we cand find many high end designer galery and also shopping mall. Saigon Opera House also in same location. Saigon Opera House built in French Colonial, the exterior has the appearance of polished pearl and makes a great place to photograph. Instagram Meterial 😍
