Borphorus Cruise
A journey to Istanbul will be incomplete without join the Borphorus Cruise. Borphorus adalah selat yang memisahkan antara benua Asia dan benua Eropa. Keindahan pemandanngan yang disuguhkan tak diragukan lagi, so amazing ❤️ Dengan cruise ini kita bisa menikmati Istanbul secara keseluruhan, lengkap dengan Europe’s side and Asia’s side.
Sebenarnya banyak banget jenis tour jika ingin cruise, ada yang plus dinner, lunch, plus show, pokoknya banyak banget dan harganya beragam. Tapi aku maunya paket hemat aja. I’m not interested joining tour. Selain mahal ya gitudeh heheheh. Jadi aku langsung aja sih ON SHOW pergi ke dermaga Eminonu dan pas turun tram udah dengar suara dari kapal-kapal dengan speaker “Borphorus Cruise 📢 We will star cruise on 15 minutes, let’s join with us” Dan memang lebih murah, only 12 Lira for 1.5 hour. Puas banget kok walaupun cuma 1 setengah jam, lagian musim dingin gak tahan lama-lama dudk di deck kapal 😩
How to get there : Take tramway to Kabatas, stop at Eminonu. You can see many boat offer a cheap cruise.
Cost : 12 Lira for 1.5 hour
Galata Tower
Galata tower or Galata Kulesi in Turkish adalah menara pertahanan pada masa Ottoman Empire. Dari jauh Galata tower ini pasti keliatan karna letaknya di hill yang dimana jalan menuju kesini menajka bok! Eike pegel deh sumpeeeee. Sebenarnya Galata tower ini terlihat dengan jelas saat Borphorus cruise. Cuma ya penasaran aja liat dari dekat. Nah Galata tower yang terletak di area Beyoglu ini banget loh cafe and tempat nongki yang cucok disekitarnya. If I have a chance to back again to Istanbul, I think, I will spend more time around this area.
How to get there : Take tramway to Kabatas, stop at Karakoy, and walk around 10 minutes. Just ask the local people about the way. Even mostly of theym can’t speak english, they will show you the way.
Dine at Galata Bridge
Galata bridge adalah jembatan yang sangat famous di Istanbul, di sore hari banyak warga lokal yang memancing disini, it’s a good to see them. When you feeling so hungry at winter seasons, dine a fresh fish under Galata Bride it’s must thing to try at Istanbul. Banyak banget restaurant seafood dijembatan ini dan harganya very cheap! My favorite is Balik Emek. Fresh Fish yang dimakan dengan roti, sangat enak dan sangat menyenyangkan 😍

Eminonu
Strolling around Eminonu adalah must thing to do di Istanbul. Karna letak Eminonu yang ditepi laut, pemandangannya pun juga indah. Di eminonu ini pun juga ada Spice market dan local market yang sangat rame. So pasti banyak banget pilihan makanan yang murah di area ini.

Spice Bazar
Spice bazar was a very interesting market I even been visited. Yang dijual sangat colorfull dan beragam. Kalau mau beli oleh-oleh khas Turkey, better to buy in here.

Grand Bazar
This is the largest market at Istanbul with hundred of tenants. Disini banyak menjual cinderamata khas Turkey dan makanan juga. But, NEVER shop in here, karna harganya MAHAL. Kalau mau beli oleh-oleh khas Turki mending di Spice Bazar aja dan di pasar di Eminonu. So kesini itu enaknya cuma liat-liat aja, makan ok lah tapi di luar area grand bazar ya yang murah-murah.

Visiting Usudar at Karakoy
Before heading to Cappodia, aku menyempatkan diri untuk main ke Asian Side of Turkey. Sebenarnya di uskudar ini banyak banget yang bisa diliat, ada Maiden’s Tower dan Camilca Hill di dalam list aku. Tapi jamgankan ke Camilca Hill, ke Maiden’s tower yang sudah di depan mata aja udh loyo karna paginya coba minum Turkish coffe 🤣 Jadi bawannya di jalan itu ngantuk, aseli reaksi tubuh ini asal minum kopi gak terduga. Maunya cari kursi terus bobok..... But I really enjoyed Uskudar, duduk di pinggir laut, kasih makan burung camar, bersandar manja di bahu Hubby, we were in love with the mesmerizing view of this city.
How to get there: Take a tram way to Kabatas, stop at Sirkeci. Change the tram way into Metro Marmara Line.
